Richard Proud is the CEO of iAnthus and serves on its board of directors. As a globally experienced and results driven leader, Richard is responsible for driving the strategic vision of the organization. He comes to us with 20 years of leadership experience across cannabis, retail, wholesale, and international selling channels. He has held executive level positions for globally recognized consumer retail brands: Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, and Garage. Before being named CEO in July 2023, Richard most recently held the title of Executive Vice President of Revenue for Curaleaf - a vertically integrated multi-state cannabis operator.

Jason Ware is the Chief Financial Officer of iAnthus and brings more than twenty-years of finance leadership experience across public companies and high-growth consumer brands. His background includes expertise in financial planning and analysis, treasury, capital allocation, strategic planning and investor relations. Prior to joining iAnthus, Jason served as Vice President of Investor Relations and FP&A at Genesco – a publicly traded footwear and lifestyle retailer. He previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance at Nutrafol, where he helped the business through a period of significant growth. Earlier in his career, he held senior finance leadership roles at Victoria’s Secret and L Brands, supporting enterprise forecasting planning and analysis and strategic decision-making at scale. Jason holds an MBA from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business and a B.S. in Accounting & Finance from The University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce. 

Andrew Ryan previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of MPX Bioceutcial Corp prior to the completion of the amalgamation transaction with the Company. Mr. Ryan has extensive experience counseling startups and emerging growth companies in heavily regulated industry. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Ryan was an attorney in private practice in the corporate practice group of a Philadelphia based law firm and most recently served as General Counsel and executive for an energy technology company that manufactures and supplies equipment for the nuclear and fossil power industry.

Mr. Ryan has devoted many years of service to numerous community organizations and has served on the Board of Trustees of nonprofit groups dedicated to improving disproportionally impacted communities.

Michael Piermont is the Chief Commercial Officer of iAnthus, bringing extensive experience in commercial strategy, technology, and brand development across diverse industries. Michael is responsible for driving growth, expanding brand portfolios, and supporting a culture of innovation.

From 2019-2025, Michael served as President and Chief Revenue Officer at Leaf Trade, a leading cannabis wholesale platform that was acquired by Leaflink in November 2024. In 2023, he co-founded Cheetah, a cannabis vape brand that was acquired by iAnthus in December 2024.

Michael has held leadership roles at CareerBuilder, Fooda, ECOFIT, and amSTATZ - with multiple successful exits under his leadership. His experience in founding and guiding startups to acquisition highlights his expertise in growth acceleration and market expansion.
